I would advice you to download the update with a USB Memory unit connected because that's the only way i can extract it... i don't have a method that works on 4GB modules nor HDD's at this time...

Actually, all you have to do is make a USBMU (it has to be dashboard formatted!) then you simply update with this memory in, right when it reboots first time you can unplug the memory and copy the hidden folder "Xbox 360" to your computer... this way MS cannot delete the update when it's done and you have a backup(it'll be a white screen saying "downloading update from live..." then it'll say "Applying update..." shortly after it'll reboot... that's when you pull the usb... (don't worry, i've done this for every update since 14719
After doing this your console will give you an error saying "I need that damned update you fool!!!!!!!", if you just put the usb back after making the update it'll continue... after the initial update it'll download the avatar stuff... this you don't need to backup, just don't delete the memory

a friend of mine have a dualboot and he's also in the program, he has so far had no problems with updating his dualboot on live with these updates...
You must understand however that at any moment microsoft may change something with these updates causing your dualboot to fail... so be careful when updating, it works, but it's not to be considerd safe

Per Explorer bisogna essere Abbonati Al Live, e anche tutte le altre cose descritte all'inizio funzionano con il Live!!!
Hanno solo aggiunto un paio di caselle in più nella Dashboard niente di più!!
Ieri sera ha scaricato una Demo dai suggerimenti che da Microsoft, e anche per giocare al Demo Obbligatorio Abbonamento live Gold!!!!!
Comunque Funziona Anche il Wasabi con la versione Beta!!
