Geremia and Maximus hit again Team Xecuter's Evil Empire, TX tried to make us think that there was no way to unlock MT1335 selling us expensive products but here we go with another nice hack to fight back.
Before trying this method make a backup of dvd key at least (JF Slim Key or Lizard Read Key)!

To get done this job we need a dremel:
We will need a little engraving cutter, definitly smaller than 1 mm, Geremia is using an Engraving Cutter 0,8 mm:
I tried and succeded with a conical cutter 0.5 mm:
We will have to dig into the MT itself, to get ther right spot Geremia helped us with a nice image:
On a cleaned up MT (use hot air or some other method to get rid of epoxy), use a ruler and a needle to sign the spot:
When you are done with the coordinates MT, get a 100 ohm resistor, smd or ceramic, doesn't matter, solder one side to 3,3 volt and the other to a wire (i used AWG30):
Strip down the wire to form a loop around the engraving cutter, we need 3,3 volt on it while carving:
We will carve like this (after plugging power and sata):
Be sure audio is working on your PC, plug SATA (chipset JBMicron suggested, or VIA 6421 but only if you follow [URL="http://www.consoleopen.com/forum/tutorial-modchip-e-hardware-xbox-360-xbox360-slim/352-trick-sata-usb-adapter-recognize-liteon-0225-0401-via-6421-a.html#post2185"]THIS TUTORIAL[/URL])and power up the drive, from dos prompt use unlockspi.exe command followed by sata port number, i got ec00, confirm with y, you will hear an audio test and you are ready to begin:

Start digging.
Proceed slowly and with caution , once you reach WP trace you will hear the sound, this will tell you to stop immediately and look at the dos prompt :
Unlock is done, tecnically you just cutted winbond WP's permanent ground connection and simultaneously sended an high signal, geremia's tool, thank to that situation, wrote on status register unlocking the winbond permanently.
If, for some reason, you want to lock again use unlockspi.exe again:
After locking you can always use the hole presence to unlock the Winbond again:
Use a lighter after unlockspi.exe command as seen in Geremia's video, WP just need to "feel" a weak signal to unlock the flash again.
