[NEWS] XeLL Reloaded v0.993

Rilasciata la nuova versione di xell reloaded che giunge alla v0.993!

di seguito il changelog

• Video support for corona consoles (NOTE: NTSC consoles may have video issues on some video modes)
• Support for all 3 USB busses (you can now use more then one usb drive in XeLL)
• Support for finding one additional USB drive during the file loop (no need to reboot the console if you forgot to put in your USB!)
• New web interface functions (shutdown and reboot your console, and get a boot log)
• Better support for big USB drives (or poorly formatted USB drives)
• Image checking in Rawflash (make sure the image you are trying to write is for this console type)
• eMMC read support (NOTE: This doesn’t work when launched from XellLaunch)

I vari tool AIO RGH verranno aggiornati nelle prossime ore, sicuramente non appena sarà disponibile il nuovo freboot per l'ultimo kernel rilasciato.

Sì puoi farlo via ftp, è scritto nel README come fare, si deve rinominare il file xell-*.bin (ad esempio xell-gggggg.bin per la tua RGH) in updxell.bin e lasciare che xell si aggiorni.

Per le console Jtag e RJtag si deve usare xell-1f.bin.

Non ho ben capito invece a cosa serve xell-2f.bin (mi ricordo che lo usavo per XellLaunch, serve solo a quello?) e le versioni Cygnos/Demon?!?

Ragazzi io ho una corona v2, leggendo il readme devo semplicemente mettere xell-gggggg.bin, rinominandolo il updxell.bin nella root di una pendrive usb formattata in fat32? E soprattutto come faccio a sapere quando l'aggiornamento è terminato visto che per ora xell non lo vedo a video?

Actually, the readme is out-dated... xell-2f.bin is for any MODERN JTAG (fbbuild & xebuild JTAG image) xell-1f.bin is used for old ones (xbr and xell only images)

For MMC coronas you need to build an entirely new image and flash, it doesn't support writing to it, netheir this version nor old versions... updxell.bin is the name used when you want to update XeLL in the memory (which is only supported by NAND consoles)

La lasci accesa 5 minuti e vai a berti una bibita. Poi spegni e provi a riaccendere e vedere che succede...

Forse magari lo inseriscono direttamente nel freeboot 16537, non sarebbe male... Così crei l'immagine freeboot con anche compreso il nuovo Xell, sperem.

EDIT: non avevo letto fosse una V2, sorry...

On a side note:

This release isn't fully tested, i recommend you wait for v0.993 which is imminent, i'm working on fixing a few bugs that need to be corrected before that release (among which one is to disable the usb log writing due to ext# not having write support)

They are for what the name suggests, Cygnos/Demon machines, if you use those UART must be running at a different speed then normally... that is what they are for...

Well, if you want to read UART using a machine with Cygnos or Demon installed UART needs to run in a different speed, i can't explain it any closer then that... you'd have to ask someone else to explain it if you still don't understand :P
