First and foremost, plug your drive into a known SATA port example is a VIA or something you know the address to.
1. Make a bootable usb following the link and guide.
2. Download, extract DOSFlash to Root of Usb
3. Download, extract Burner Max Firmware inside 'dosflash16' folder, rename the file to something easy like 'orig.bin' or 'ihas.bin'
4. Reboot computer and boot from usb
5. You be prompted with 'c:>' then type 'cd dosflas~1' press enter
6. Run dosflash16.exe, you should be presented with a list of drives located on your computer one of which should be your drive. Select your drive according to its number.
Make SURE you select the right drive!
Note: if your drive is 'dead' then it should be presented with "no description" or "no info" and generally be an ASPI drive
7. Select 'w' write and then type in the .bin file you saved and renamed in the dosflash16 directory.
It should erase then write the blocks to drive and voila restored drive. BTW this is pretty much how you restore any drive
IF your drive cannot be seen still or receives a STACK OVERFLOW ERROR turn off SATA control in your bios
