[TUTORIAL] Jrp v1 Speed Upgrade, Sonus360 and Demon BB Fix Homemade at free-of-charge
By this tutorial we speaks about the Demon BB Fix, the JRP V1's Speed Upgrade and the change the sounds of the 360 (like the Sonus360) at free-of-charge.
JRP V1 Speed Upgrade :
Just remember that, to use the JRProgrammer with Speed Upgrade, the firmware "PICFLASH_E_1_0_4_JRP1_ISD.HEX" must be flashed into the JRP by connecting it to the PC in bootloader mode (switch to the left).
METOD 1:
requirements:
*JRP v1
*Soldering Iron
*Flux
*Solder
*preferably AWG30 for wirings
Following the official diagram, remove the resistors marked by the green arrow and put them to one side:
Basing on this diagram, solder the resistors that you have previously unsoldered in this way:
By this way the time for reading and writing the NAND will be drastically reduced (something about 1m-1m30s for reading and 2m-2m30s for writing a 16mb NAND)
This is an example :
METOD 2: (linked by ginncorvus)
Requirements:
*JRP v1
*tweezers
*Soldering Iron
*Solder
*Flux
An alternative method would be to swap the wires in the connector of JRP v1 by following the illustration below (you must Always desolder a resistor):
Choose the one that you want
Demon BB (Big Block) Fix :
Requirements:
*2x10kohm resistors
*Soldering Iron
*Flux
*Solder
*preferably AWG30 for wirings
Following the official diagram, put the two 10k resistors from d0 to x1 and from d1 to x2:
If you have problems, try with 2x 3.3k resistors (thanks to
zeruel85 for reporting)
Sonus 360 Slim :
Requiremets:
*JRP for programming the ISD
*Soldering Iron
*Flux
*Solder
*2-way speaker (you can find it even in some made-in-china toy)
*preferably AWG30 for wirings
Following this official diagram, desolder the original buzzer and solder the little speaker mentioned on the requirements:
Following the same image and the one below, solder the JRP to the motherboard (the image is showing a Corona MB, but is almost the same on Trinity's):
NB: The blue wire must NOT be connected
All we have to do now is to program the ISD using J-Runner
